It happened before your very eyes, it flashed across the cinema screen and you most likely didn't notice. The end of 35mm film projection.

The Last Projectionist   is a photographic story of the last days of 35mm film projection and the shift into the digital future.  Images are captured behind the scenes of one of Australia's most renowned Cinema companies, Palace Cinema's, as the analogue projectors are pushed aside to make room for the digital machines. The projectionists are photographed as they work their art form one last time.
